1 person has reportedly died and four more were injured in a single vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Knox County Indiana. The fatal mishap occurred around 5 p.m. ET on U.S. 50 near the Robinson Road between Vincennes and Wheatland. Initial reports indicate that the vehicle was headed west on 50 when for an unknown reason, it crossed over the median and then spun around in the eastbound lanes before rolling over and then coming to rest back in the median. Two of the 5 occupants were thrown from the vehicle and taken to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington and three were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. One of those hurt, believed to be from Washington succumbed to their injuries. No names have officially been released as the incident remains under investigation.
