The Lawrenceville City Council met in regular session Thursday evening at City Hall. Mayor David Courtney reported to the council that the city is changing it’s software providers for the city water department. The move is being made because of persistent problems with the company regarding the customer billing process and efforts to rectify the situation. Streets and roads to be improved through the use of the city motor fuel tax monies were also discussed. The mayor did indicate that there are plans to have the City Park pool open for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend and that the starting date for the city summer help is June 6th with reviews of applicants currently underway.
