The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department reports two arrests. Taken into custody Thursday was 48 year old Heather Leigh of rural Bruceville Indiana for Probation Violation and Failure to Appear in Court. She was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on $30,000 bond. Early Friday, they arrested a local man in Bridgeport on multiple offenses. 47 year old Robert Pennington was charged with Driving with no Valid License, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Vehicle), Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. Pennington was being held pending setting of bond in the Lawrence County Jail.
