A Lawrence County man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Monday in neighboring Wabash County. 59 year old Glen Howder of Lawrenceville was found guilty last month of Child Pornography, a Class X Illinois Felony and two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, a Class 2 Illinois Felony in connection with incidents involving a family member. He was given 20 years on the Child Pornography charge and 5 years each on the two Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse offenses. The sentences will run consecutively and Howder will also be placed on mandatory supervised release for three years up to life after getting out of prison. Howder is still facing additional charges in both Wabash and neighboring Edwards County in the future.
