The Red Hill Unit #10 Board of Education approved the repositioning of some of it’s administration during their session Wednesday in Bridgeport. Current Red Hill JR/SR High School principal Clarence Gross will shift over to become principal at the Sumner Attendence Center next year, replacing Todd Tiffany who is retiring. Current RH JR/SR/HS Assistant Principal Kacey Strange will move up to replace Gross as principal at that school. In other actions, the board approved a FY2023 School Calender and approved the creation of a Jr High Volleyball Program to begin in 2023. Two topics were discussed with no actions taken-the purchase of new varsity boys and girls lockers at the high school was sent to the Building and Grounds Committee for further study and review before a full board decision n the future. And the potential of a co-op Building Trades program with Unit 20 to begin potentially in 2024 will also be researched.
