The Knox County Indiana Sheriffs Department reports that one person has been injured and hospitalized after a two vehicle crash Thursday night on U.S. 41 south of Oaktown. The mishap occurred when a truck being driven by Richard Pinnick of Oaktown struck a vehicle being driven by Jessica Babbs of Dugger Indiana as he entered the northbound lanes of traffic from the Co-op Road. The impact drove both vehicles off the roadway. Pinnick was hurt and was lifeflighted to an Evansville hospital while Babbs escaped injury. Authorities are continuing to investigate.
