A Knox County Indiana home improvement contractor has been charged with Theft after a criminal complaint about his failure to make repairs after being paid over $19,000. The victim reportedly entered a home improvement agreement with Superior Home Improvements owned and operated by 48 year old Jesse Pace of Bicknell. Pace was paid $10,000 in December of 2021 to begin the improvement projects but discontinued work after only 2 days on the job. He was later paid over $9000 for additional materials to finish the work but failed to finish and the victim contacted the Indiana State Police. After an investigation, an arrest warrant for Theft, a Level 6 Indiana Felony was issued by the Knox County Prosecutors Office this week for Pace. He was taken into custody without incident and brought to the Knox County Jail where he posted bond and was released.
