Vincennes University Police are warning students, staff and visitors to it’s campus facilities to secure their vehicles. This after they reported the theft of a vehicle earlier this week. It was taken Monday afternoon from the Homeland Security parking lot on 2nd Street and later found abandoned in Greene County Indiana. Authorities say they do have a suspect in the theft described as a white male with short brown hair. It is thought that he may be involved in other vehicle thefts in surrounding Indiana counties. Anyone with information is asked to contact the VU Police or their nearest law enforcement authority.
