The National Weather Service has terminated it’s Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville. That after the river crested late Friday at 29.93 feet just below the 30 foot flood stage. The river was at 29.52 feet Saturday morning and will continue a steady fall. The river had been high due to extensive rainfall the past week in the upper Embarras River basin.
