The Red Hill Unit 10 Board of Education met in regular session Thursday evening in Bridgeport. There was a lengthy discussion on ways to improve the district volleyball program which currently has play only at the high school level. Implementation of a junior high program to teach the fundamentals of the game to younger girls will be looked at over the next month. Among the data to be collected include organizing a schedule, player interest, and scheduling officials. The board also during the session approved the purchase of a 14 passenger activity bus from Southern Bus and Mobility and advertising for bids for a large SUV for district use.
