Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange has announced that two men were sentenced to prison in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 41 year old Michael Wells Jr. of Bridgeport was given 3 1/2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and 1 year of mandatory supervised release for Burglary, a Class 2 Illinois felony. 50 year old Gary Prater of Mt Carmel was handed 3 years in the DOC along with 1 year of mandatory supervised release on a charge of Aggravated Driving While License Suspended, a Class 4 Illinois felony.
