The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education met in regular session Wednesday at Lawrenceville High School. They approved another year of summer school for K-12 students starting June 6th and lasting through June 30th. Additional information will be sent to parents in the near future. The board heard from a number of students and parents supporting Parkview 7th grade teachers Lindsey Buck and Heather Ray who were informed they would not be renewed. After executive session, the board did approve a resolution of non-renewal of the two non-tenured teachers. The board also approved Brittany Boldt as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. This is a new position in the district.
