The Sumner City Council met in regular session Monday night at City Hall. They were informed that the new City Hall project is moving forward. A more detailed report will be given in April once the Building Committee meets with the project architect to discuss and review the drawings.  The council did move to change the wording of the city ordinance dealing with grease trap interceptors to meet the minimum state standards. This action was taken in working with a new business venture in the city by Chuck Bell. Also discussed was city chip and seal street work, the need to hire a manager for the city website and continuing the City of Sumner $500 scholarship through RHHS. City wide cleanup is being planned for early May with exact dates and times to be publicized as the time draws closer.
