Due to a significant decrease in COVID transmissions in the community, Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes Friday announced updates in it’s visitation guidelines. The most notable change is that two visitors will now be allowed for inpatient visitation. Outpatient, outpatient surgery and medical practice patients are still restricted to one visitor age 16 or older. Also even though the COVID transmissions have gone down, the hospital is still asking that all non-essential visitors refrain from visiting hospital facilities at this time. Good Samaritan is still continuing to require masking within facilities, social distancing and the screening of visitors.
