The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,733 new cases of coronavirus with 86 new deaths across the state Wednesday. There were only 2 positive cases reported in Lawrence County and just 7 positive cases Wednesday in Knox County Indiana. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 3,022,684 cases of the disease with 32,517 deaths total. A total of 21,042,269 vaccinations have been administered at sites across Illinois since the vaccine rollout began with over 4.1 million booster doses. Vincennes University announced this week that it will continue with it’s mask mandate for it’s campus facilities till furthur notice based on a recommendation from it’s Executive Committee.
