The National Weather Service says a period of wintry precipitation is expected across the WAKO listening area from late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. Light snow will be the primary precipitation type: however, some sleet or freezing rain could mix with the snow along and south of a line from Flora northeast to Robinson. Snow accumulations of under 1 inch are anticipated with a very thin glaze of ice possible. Motorists traveling during the period are advised to drive with caution as slick road conditions could occur….especially on untreated secondary and rural roads.
