The Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville will continue into early next week. The National Weather Service says that the river Wednesday morning was at 35.3 feet-over 5 feet above it’s 30 foot flood stage. The river is expected to crest and begin a slow fall and fall below flood on Monday February 28th. Flooding is occuring along the river at and near Lawrenceville.
