Lois Corine Bathe, age 96 of The Villages, FL and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL. She was born December 6, 1925 in Springerton, IL to Floyd and Maggie (Rockett) Malone.
She married Harold Ray Bathe on December 24, 1944, and he preceded her in death.
She was a loving homemaker to her family and enjoyed time spent with them all.
Surviving family includes: one son- Lynn Bathe of Boise, ID: one daughter- Shirley “Shirl” Baker and husband Stan of The Villages, FL: six grandchildren- Laura Martin and husband Scott, Larry Bathe and wife Jose, Matt Baker, Bryan Baker and wife Rachelle, Amy Dunn and husband Bob, and Eric Bathe and wife Destiny: and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Floyd and Maggie Malone: husband- Harold Ray Bathe: two sons- Gerald and Darrell Bathe: one daughter-in-law- Marie Bathe (Lynn’s wife): and twelve siblings.
A graveside service will be held for Lois Bathe on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery near Claremont. Cunningham Funeral Home is handling her arrangements.
