The National Weather Service is continuing the Flood Warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville till Friday February 25th. The river Saturday was at 32 feet, 2 feet above it’s 30 foot flood stage and rising. The river is expected to crest Sunday at 33.6 feet before beginning a slow steady fall. Some minor flooding is occuring from the high river level.
