Darla Kay (Neeley) Sheren, 58, of Lawrenceville, IL formerly of Willow Hill, IL passed away on Monday February 14, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
She was born in Sullivan County, Indiana on January 14, 1964 to Robert “Bob” Neeley and Norma Jane (Slane) Neeley. On August 4, 1984 she married Timothy “Tim” Sheren, they later divorced.
Darla was a homemaker. She attended Berlin Church and Bee Branch Christian Church in Lawrenceville, IL and was a member of the Newton High School Class of 1982. She enjoyed riding four wheelers and going fishing, but she especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Darla was a social butterfly; she never met a stranger.
She is survived by a daughter Renee Sheren, Petersburg, IN; two brothers and sisters-in-law Johnny and Michelle Neeley, Oblong, IL and Rocky and Becky Neeley, Carlisle, IN along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Charles Neeley.
Celebration of Darla’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday February 19, 2022 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will be held at Vincennes Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the Darla K.
