LCMH ACUTE CARE SCHEDULING CHANGES

The Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Acute Care Clinic has announced a new scheduling process due to the rise in COVID cases locally. Clinic Manager and Hospital Executive Director of Operations Gene Allen says that starting Tuesday January 25th, all patients experiencing COVID symptoms must call ahead to arrange an appointment. During weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., patients with non-COVID symptoms can still walk in to the clinic with no appointment needed. However, during evening hours from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and during weekend hours from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. all patients must call ahead to make an appoinment. No walk ins will be accepted during the evening and weekend clinic hours.
