The Bi-State Authority which governs the Mid-American Air Center located northeast of Lawrenceville met in regular session Tuesday night at the airport. Topics of discussion according to airport manager Kurt Schwartz included progress reports of the 18/36 overlay project and the omni-dimensional approach light project for 2022. There was also discussion on the T-hanger project slated for 2024. Schwartz also indicated that more study is being done on a new Illinois infrastructure plan for airports which could lead to additional funds for improvements in the future.
