The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 19,237 new cases of coronavirus across the state Monday with 34 additional deaths. The Lawrence County Health Department indicated there were 63 positive cases reported Monday in the county. There were 42 new cases reported Monday in Knox County Indiana. Currently, there have been 2,460,270 cases of the disease across Illinois with 28,568 deaths since the pandemic began. A total of 19,686,548 vaccinations have now been administered at sites across the state since the vaccine rollout began with over 3.3 million booster doses. The most recent IDPH numbers show that 37.40% of the total Lawrence County population is now fully vaccinated with 41.5% having gotten at least one dose of the vaccine. There have been 2,030 booster dose received so far in Lawrence County.
