Candidates for county offices up for election here in Lawrence County in 2022 can begin circulating nomination petitions this week. County Clerk Will Gibson informed WAKO News that those petitions can be picked up starting Thursday January 13th at his office in the Lawrence County Courthouse during regular business hours. Those petitions once completed can be filed at the County Clerks office from March 7th thru 14th. Anyone interested or wanting additional information can contact (618) 943-2346.
