The Lawrence County Board will meet in special session Thursday January 6th. County officials have informed WAKO News that the board will get together at 4 p.m. in the meeting room of the Lawrence County Courthouse. The purpose of the meeting will be to consider the consolidation of the county voting precincts and to approve county board districts based on the numbers collected in the 2020 United States Census.
