The Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors met for the final time in 2021 last week and were updated on the past year and presented a 2022 fiscal year budget and overview by the Executive Care Team. The 2022 budget will include an overall 2% rate increase and also a 3% wage increase for hospital employees. Along with that, the hospital will also raise the minimum wage from $13 to $14 per hour in 2022 beginning in July. Hospital leaders looking back on 2021 spoke of their pride in the medical facility’s continued response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the community and look for those efforts to continue in 2022.
