The Illinois Secretary of States Office has announced that beginning next week, all departments including Driver Services facilities across the state will be closed for 2 weeks. The move is being made due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases statewide. Driver License offices including the Lawrenceville location will be closed to in-person transactions from Monday January 3rd through Monday January 17th. The public is encouraged to visit the Illinois Secretary of State website at ilsos.gov to make online transactions. Online services will remain open.
