Michael L. Ham, age 69, of Flat Rock, Illinois passed away on Thursday, December 02, 2021 at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1952 in Sullivan, Indiana, the son of Wendell L. Ham, Sr. and Marie (Sparks) Ham. He married Patricia Devin on October 25, 1986, and she survives.

Mike was a truck driver, and served his country in the United States Air Force. He attended the Birds Free Methodist Church. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing, drawing, reading, as well as spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a loving, patient husband and father, and during his illness he continued to preserver and never gave up.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one infant daughter, Angel Ham; and two brothers, an infant twin and Wendell Ham, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; three sons, Michael Lee Ham II of Palestine, Illinois, Justin Ham and wife, Sheena of Flat Rock, Illinois, and Joey Ham and wife, Elizabeth of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three daughters, Melinda Love and husband, Troy of Flat Rock, Illinois, Jessica Carpenter of Patoka, Indiana, and Jeannie Lawyer and husband, Jeremy of Palestine, Illinois; one brother, Dennis Ham and wife, Linda of Palestine, Illinois; two sisters, Gwenn Lowe and Regina Bradberry both of Palestine, Illinois; 17 grandchildren, Steven Ham, Crystal Ham, Derek Ham, Michael Johnson, Sr., Ashten Stephens, Nathan Stephens, Jonathan Hill, Cheyenne Hill, Devin Lawyer, Felicia Lawyer, Lillian Lawyer, Reid Lawyer, Triston Ham, Paxton Ham, Lucas Ham, Landon Ham, and Lilah Ham; six great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at 1:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery, with military rites. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
