The Vincennes University Board of Trustees met this week and approved the extension of the contract of University President Dr. Chuck Johnson through 2024. Board Chairman John Stachura and various trustees voiced their praise for Johnson’s leadership of the university. The Board also expressed gratitude to longtime administrator Mike Gress by adopting a resolution of appreciation for his dedicated service to the university. Gress has retired after 41 years at VU. He began his career at the school as a faculty member and held many administrative titles.
