A Coles County Illinois man was injured and hospitalized after being involved in a single vehicle accident in neighboring Crawford County Wednesday. The Sheriffs Department reports that 29 year old Gage McKimmy of Lerna was traveling on Illinois Route 33 when he suffered a medical problem while behind the wheel. His vehicle then veered off the road and into a northside ditch. McKimmy was taken by ambulance to Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson for treatment.
