It was a big day Monday for the Lawrenceville Moose Lodge. They hosted Paul Curtis who is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moose International. He is the highest elected official in the Moose fraternity. His visit to Lawrence County is part of an ongoing year long trip by Curtis to discuss the merging of men and women members and to thank individual lodges in communities across the nation for their work and efforts. He presented 9 “Tommy Moose” child trauma dolls to first responders here in Lawrence County to be used to help comfort a young child and small children during and after traumatic experiences. The local Moose presented Curtis with a $250 check for the Mooseheart Athletic Center currently under construction.
