The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting 3,122 new cases of coronavirus across the state Thursday with 19 new deaths. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 1,727,634 cases of the disease and 26,028 deaths in the state. A total of 16,123,048 vaccinations have been administered in Illinois since the vaccine rollout began. There were 76,406 doses given at sites across Illinois since Monday. The Lawrence County Health Department cancelled it’s scheduled COVID-19 vaccination clinic for Friday, November 12th. The clinics will resume on Friday, November 19th. the IDPH is reporting that 36.44% of the total Lawrence County population is now fully vaccinated.
