A popular Vincennes Christmas holiday tradition is making its return in 2021. The Vincennes Board of Works and Safety Monday approved the resumption of the Christmas Parade of Lights on Main Street in downtown Vincennes. The move was spearheaded by City Council President Tim Salters along with councilmen Brian Grove and Marc McNeese. All three men said they had positive response from downtown merchants to the idea. The parade date will be Friday December 10th at 6:30 p.m. ET with lineup at 5 p.m. Entries will be taken on-line via city social media sites and more information will be released in the coming days.
