The city of Vincennes has announced that the 2021 curbside leaf pickup schedule begins next week. It is scheduled to start Monday November 8th through Wednesday November 10th with week one pickups on St Clair Avenue to Niblack Boulevard and from Oliphant Drive to the Wheeler Road area. There will be no pickup on Thursday November 11th (Veterans Day). Residents are asked not to mix limbs and other objects with their leaves and those types of leaf piles will not be picked up. The city collection site on Old Terre Haute Road will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. EDT Monday through Friday. Residents are welcome to bring their own yard debris, leaves and limbs and dump them there. However, people are asked to empty their containers on location and then take the empty containers with them.
