2 Knox County Indiana women were taken into custody in neighboring Crawford County after a traffic stop in Palestine. Palestine Police report that just after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle being driven by 47 year old Chastity Theriac of Vincennes was pulled over for a registration violation. After investigation, she was charged with Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle, Driving While License Suspended and Improper Registration. A passenger in the vehicle, 34 Heather Brand also of Vincennes was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance after being searched. Both women were taken to the Crawford County Jail and were being held on bond.
