INDIANA STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST

An out of state woman was arrested late last week in Knox County Indiana after she was stopped driving over 100 miles per hour in a stolen vehicle. Indiana State Police report they made a traffic stop around 9 p.m. EDT Friday on a Dodge Charger clocked at 107 miles per hour on U.S. 41. The driver was indentified as 41 year old Peggy Gallegos of Lenoir City Tennessee. She showed signs of impairment and failed a field sobriety test. The vehicle Gallegos was driving was also reported as stolen out of Tennessee. She was taken into custody and charged with Theft and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving. Gallegos was being held on those offenses in the Knox County Jail.
