The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 1,695,524 cases of coronavirus with 25,771 deaths across the state since the pandemic began. The Lawrence County Health Department reported 33 positive cases in the county last week with 48 cases active and 2 hospitalizations. 16 new cases were reported in Knox County Indiana Sunday. There have now been 15,542,790 vaccinations administered across Illinois since the vaccine rollout began. Of Illinois total population, 69% have received at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 54% of the total population is now fully vaccinated. The LCHD now reports that 36.18% of the total Lawrence County population are now fully vaccinated.
