Reports out of neighboring Richland County indicate that another person charged in the shooting death of an Olney man in 2020 has plead guilty. 33 year old Dale Boatman Jr of Olney was in court this week and entered the plea to a lesser charge. He received 15 years in prison along with 3 years of mandatory supervised release as part of a plea agreement. 19 year old Rick Meador plead guilty to the murder of Kyle Johnson and will be sentenced early next year. Boatman and two other defendants were charged with being accomplices in the killing at an Olney intersection.
