LAWRENCEVILLE ACCIDENTS

Lawrenceville Police dealt with two accidents Wednesday. The first occured just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of 11th and Dubois Streets. A 2007 Hyundai being driven by Sue Brown of Bridgeport collided with a 2005 Honda CRV being driven by Caryn Leslie of Lawrenceville. Neither driver was hurt. Both vehicles suffered enough damage that both were towed from the accident scene. There were no citations issued. The second was a deer-vehicle collision around 8:30 p.m. on 3rd Street south of Maple. A 2000 Toyota Tundra Truck being driven by Earl Montgomery of rural Lawrenceville was headed north on 3rd when it struck a deer which ran out of an alley into the path of the vehicle. Montgomery and a passenger were not injured. The truck did incur some front end bumper damage but was able to be driven from the scene.
