The Vincennes City Council met Monday night in regular session and were given a presentation by Kirk Bouchie with the Vincennes Utilities Services Board on the planned 2022 Infrastructure Improvement Project which includes an additional 2 million gallon water storage bank. The project would be funded in part by a $7.2 million bond issuance over a 20 year period and cost $8.7 million overall, but would not include a rate increase. The city of Vincennes controls funding for the Utilities Board. Also presented to the council were the proposed new city redistricting maps which featured only minimal changes. Those maps will be on public display at the City Hall. Also approved was the 2021-22 employees and elected officials salary ordinance and fiscal support in the future over a 5 year period for the new golf course revamping project.
