Patty J. Stevenson, age 75, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born on January 19, 1946 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of William ‘Bill’ E. and Alice M. (Cessna) Jerrell.
Patty retired from Rucker’s Candy. She was a member of the House of Prayer in Albion, life member of the VFW Auxiliary, and a past member of the Moose. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, and listening to Elvis. Her family will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Stevenson and wife, Vicki of Albion, Brian Stevenson of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Doug Stevenson and wife, Jessica of Sumner, Illinois; one brother, Steven Jerrell of Altamonte Springs, Florida; one sister, Peggy Deloriea and husband, Joe of Lawrenceville, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, Aaron Stevenson, Brian Stevenson, Jr, Amanda Smith, Todd Stevenson, Tabbatha Stevenson, Scott Harvey, Matt Stevenson, Brianna Stevenson, Jasmine Compton, Druwsilla Compton, and Justice Stevenson; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on
Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Petty Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center & Wig Shoppe.
