The Lawrence County Board has approved a tenative over $3 million fiscal year budget and a $1.9 million tax levy for fiscal year 2022. That action taken Wednesday at the county courthouse. Both the budget and levy were presented by county budget consultant Curt Bensen of Kemper CPA. They will now go on public display for review until final passage in November. The board also approved the reappointments of Robert Johnson to the Big Slough Drainage District and Roger Mushrush to the Eagle Branch Drainage District for three year terms each.
