Bobbie Jean Hunsaker, age 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at her residence. She was born on April 22, 1937 in Princeton, Kentucky, the daughter of Andrew and Louise (Milton) Ladd. She married Robert K. Hunsaker on February 05, 1954, and he preceded her in death on January 01, 2005.
Bobbie was a CNA, school bus driver, and worked at the B&B Tavern in Russellville. She loved animals and gathering the family for the holidays. She made wonderful catfish and cornbread. She knew simple life was the best. She was so talented and that was seen in her many paintings, quilts, and yard art.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one daughter, Jerri Murphy; one brother, Charles Ladd; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include three children, Larry Hunsaker and wife, Rachel of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Kathy Argo and husband, Chuck of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Bill Hunsaker of Russellville, Illinois; one brother, Bill Ladd and wife, Glenda of Princeton, Kentucky; one sister, Vickie Ward and husband, Brian of Princeton, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:30 PM CDT at the Price Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
