The Vincennes Board of Works and Safety has approved a contract with the Indiana Department of Transportation for the Main Street Phase II project. The approval was made with the recommendation of City Engineer John Sprague. Under the contract, the city will pay 20% of the cost of the work with INDOT handling the rest. That project involves work on Main Street from Kimmell Pointe east to Sievers Road. Phase III of that project will also run concurrently.
