Pearl M. Wagner, age 99, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at BridgePointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on December 18, 1921 in Knox County, Indiana, the daughter of Guy and Yodus (Coleman) Theriac. She married Ogle Wagner on February 21, 1940, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1991.
Pearl worked various jobs over the years, including cleaning services and at a casket factory. Her memberships included the Billett United Methodist Church and Allison Prairie Home Extension. She enjoyed canning, doing yard work, playing cards, and listening to country and western music. She worked hard to provide for her family, and her family will remember her for being loving, kind, and generous.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; four brothers; two sisters; one son, Danny Ray Wagner; one daughter, Irma Pauline Kelley; and one grandson, David Kelley.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Kocher and husband, Norman of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two brothers, Charlie Theriac of Lawton, Oklahoma and Andy Theriac and wife, Ruth of Coffeen, Illinois; three sisters, Barbara McCrary, Cindy Theriac, and Norma Theriac all of Vincennes, Indiana; one brother-in-law, Don Wagner of Lawrenceville, Illinois; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
