lcmh-2

Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville last week held it’s annual Pink Tree lighting ceremony in honor of those affected by breast cancer. Among those addressing the gathering was Dr. Anne Barnwell-Grayson, General Surgeon and Breast Specialist on the importance of annual screenings and how early detection saves lives. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the tree at the front of the hospital grounds is lit up with pink lights during the month to honor those who are fighting the fight, have fought the fight, or who have lost the fight against the disease of breast cancer.
