State and local health officials are urging Lawrence County and other area residents to not only get vaccinated against COVID-19, but to also get a flu shot. Flu season is here and the Lawrence County Health Department will host it’s fifth annual drive-thru flu shot clinic this week. It is Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Central Christian Church at 303 Buchanon Drive in Lawrenceville. Flu vaccines will be available for infants through seniors. People attending should bring their insurance cards or payment at time of service. No appointments are neccessary. Visit the LCHD website or Facebook page for additional information.
