L’VILLE CAR-BICYCLE HIT AND RUN

Lawrenceville Police have now completed their investigation into a car-bicycle hit and run incident late last week in which 1 person was injured and hospitalized. At around 6:40 p.m. Friday a 2003 Ford being driven by Benjamin Summers of Lawrenceville was heading south on 6th Street and failed to stop at the intersection with Lexington Avenue and struck a bicycle being ridden by Mary Stanker of Lawrenceville. Stanker was hurt and taken by ambulance to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Summers left the accident scene and later returned on foot. He was charged with Disobeying a Stop Sign and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury.
