The St Louis Cardinal’s winning streak is now at a franchise record 16 after they rallied in the final innings to beat the Chicago Cubs 4-2 Sunday at Wrigley Field. Harrison Bader homered in the 8th to tie the game and the Redbirds scored twice in the top of the 9th to secure the win and a sweep of the four game series. The Cards are 6 games ahead in the race for the final NL Wild Card with 6 to play. The Cubs meanwhile have lost 6 in a row. They are off Monday and will begin the final week of the season on the road at Pittsburgh Tuesday night.
