The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has announced that an additional $327 million in Low Income Housing and Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funding is now available for low income families across Illinois including Lawrence and surrounding counties. The funding has increased from 2020 and will provide more help to more people struggling with their home energy bills.
